What is a cookie?

Cookies are text files containing small amounts of information which are downloaded to your device when you visit a website. They are then sent back to the originating website on each subsequent visit, or to another website that recognises that cookie. Cookies are useful because they allow a website to recognise a user’s device.

How we use cookies

This website uses cookies to ensure a better user experience — to remember settings, to customise advertising and marketing, and for authentication and analytics.

This technology may be used for analysing trends, administering the site, tracking visitors’ movements around the site, and gathering demographic information about our user base as a whole.

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, to track and analyse visitor behaviour to help us improve the user experience. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google.

We also use Google Tag Manager to manage and deploy tracking tags on our website, and LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on LinkedIn and to retarget previous visitors.

What choices do you have?

You can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level. If you reject cookies, you may still use our site, but your ability to use some features may be limited.

If you wish to opt out of Google’s use of advertising cookies, you can change your settings at Google Ads Settings. You can opt out of Google Analytics here.
