Audited, not just certified: Cloud2 is now one of the few AWS MSP Partners in the Nordics

Most partner badges are earned by passing exams. This one is earned by letting an independent auditor spend days inside your operations: your incident process, your runbooks, your security controls, your escalation paths.

Cloud2 has passed that audit. We are now an AWS Managed Service Provider (MSP) Partner. Look up the designation in the AWS partner directory and you’ll find it held almost entirely by global integrators; only a handful of Nordic companies have earned it. Cloud2 is now one of them.

The hardest proof a partner can hold

The AWS Partner Network has plenty of competencies and certifications. The MSP designation stands apart because it is audited: a third-party auditor examines how a partner actually runs managed services, against AWS’s own checklist. Service management, security and incident response, monitoring and operations, governance, and the full customer lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.

You can’t study your way through it, and you can’t slide-deck your way through it. Either your operations hold up under inspection or they don’t.

That is why so few partners in the Nordics hold the designation. And it doesn’t stand alone. It sits on top of our AWS competencies and programs:

MSP · Audited DevOps Security Digital Sovereignty Life Sciences Migration & Modernization Well-Architected

Plan, build, migrate, modernize, secure, and run: the whole lifecycle, verified by AWS, from one partner.

The auditors inspected our AI tooling too

Every vendor now claims “AI-powered operations”. Ask what that means in practice and the answer is usually a chatbot sitting on top of a ticket queue.

The AI tooling our engineers use daily for incident management, problem management and root cause analysis is built by us, runs inside our operational core, and was in the scope of the audit. When an incident hits, it correlates changes, alerts and incident history, so the engineer starts from a working hypothesis instead of a blank screen. It flags recurring problems across environments before they escalate, and it tracks every root cause through to a permanent fix.

For you this shows up as faster resolution, fewer repeat incidents, and root cause analyses that state what happened and what we changed. And because the tooling handles operational data, we built it accordingly: everything runs in the EU, your data stays within the scope of our ISO 27001 certified management system, and it is never used to train models across customers. Your incidents teach nothing to anyone else’s environment.

You shouldn’t have to choose between scale and being cared about

Companies picking a managed services partner have long faced a lousy trade-off. Global integrators offer scale but deliver ticket queues, rotating teams, and change requests that take a quarter to approve. Small local shops care, but can they run your production environment at 3 a.m., pass your security review, and still exist in five years?

The MSP audit resolves that trade-off. An independent auditor has verified that Cloud2 runs managed services with the processes and controls the big houses claim, inspected item by item. That holds whether your critical workload is office IT, a customer-facing platform, or telemetry streaming in from machines in the field.

It wasn’t our first audit, either. Our information security management system is ISO 27001 certified and re-examined every year. When your security team sends the vendor assessment questionnaire, we answer with certificates and audit evidence you can verify.

What the audit can’t measure is what our size adds: senior engineers who know your environment and your name, and decisions made by the people who do the work. Big enough to run enterprise managed services. Small enough that your business matters to the whole company. One half of that sentence is now independently verified. We would like to prove the other half in person.

Put us to the test

If you’re reviewing your managed services setup, or wondering whether your current partner would survive an audit like this, let’s talk. We’ll start with a Well-Architected review of your AWS environment, run by the team that just went through the audit. You’ll see how your cloud runs today and what we would change.
