What does Managed Citrix cover?

We take full responsibility for building, monitoring, and managing your Citrix Cloud environment, in line with the service levels we agree on the way in. That includes Citrix Cloud architecture, design, and deployment fully integrated with your virtual desktop infrastructure; Citrix Cloud service layer management and monitoring including proactive incident handling and Session Host server administration; continuous operations covering patches, updates, image versioning, capacity tuning, and cost monitoring; identity, security, networking, certificates, backups, and domain components handled in one place; detailed reporting and regular service reviews through a dedicated cloud steering group or scheduled walkthroughs; and optional integration with your wider cloud estate across AWS, Azure, GCP, and your own data centres, including multi-vendor and hybrid environments.

Can we move from on-prem Citrix to Citrix Cloud without a big-bang cutover?

Yes. We design the migration in stages, run old and new in parallel, and shift users group by group. No forced cutover, no surprise weekend.

Do you support multi-cloud and hybrid Citrix deployments?

Yes. We deploy Citrix across AWS, Azure, GCP, and your own on-prem data centres. Hybrid setups are part of normal delivery. The Citrix control plane stays the same. The infrastructure underneath is your call.

What does the cost model look like?

Citrix user licensing is usually per user per year, but pay-as-you-go is also available when usage patterns justify it. On the infrastructure side, Citrix Cloud capacity is pay-as-you-go: you pay for what your users actually use. We continuously right-size the environment so you are not paying for idle resources. Vertical and horizontal load balancing on multi-user workloads has cut spend by up to 60 percent in our experience.

How do you handle security and compliance?

Data stays in your environment. Access is governed by conditional access policies, device posture checks, multi-factor authentication, and session controls. Compliance configurations are enforced centrally and applied to every user, every session, following the rules you set.

What about disaster recovery?

With multi-zone or multi-region architecture, capacity is split so a single failure does not stop work. With automated failover, users can be redirected to another region or provider in minutes. Citrix image versioning lets you roll back a bad update almost instantly. Users close the application, reopen it, and continue. We also rehearse the failover scenarios on a regular schedule. If you have never tested your DR, you do not know whether you have one.

Can we get only the workspace and keep our existing cloud team?

Yes. Managed Citrix is a standalone service. If you later want governance, security, and workloads handled too, our Managed Cloud Platform takes over the rest of the cloud estate under the same team.
