Platform Advisory

Engineering as a standing item on your leadership agenda. A quarterly brief, and every new idea sorted before it costs money.

Problem

Somebody should notice the third landing zone

Platform problems start small. The same environment gets built a third way. A production change happens by hand on a Friday. Someone asks whether the platform can also do this. Platform Advisory makes noticing those moments a standing monthly service, before they turn into projects.

  • • No regular forum where engineering decisions get made
  • • Every request treated as a one-off
  • • A platform roadmap rewritten every budget cycle

Approach

An agenda item, not an on-call DevOps engineer

If you run cloud with us, Platform Advisory runs inside the CCoE cadence you already have. If you don't, it is a regular platform session. Monthly, every two weeks or weekly, depending on your tier. Anything bigger routes to the Platform Governance Model or a scoped workflow or blueprint project.

A standing platform slot

Engineering on the CCoE agenda at your tier's rhythm, with a Cloud² platform architect in the room.

Quarterly platform brief

DORA metrics, policy findings trend, pipeline and runner spend, blueprint adoption, ClickOps signals, and the NIS2, DORA and Cyber Resilience Act milestones that affect you.

Request triage

Which asks become a workflow, which a blueprint, and which stay a one-off.

Tool evaluation

On request: GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Terraform or OpenTofu, Scalr, Spacelift, Backstage and Port, compared against your own needs.

A roadmap that stays current

Updated every month instead of rewritten every budget cycle.

FAQ

Common questions

Do we need to be a Managed Cloud Platform customer?
No. For MCP customers it runs inside the CCoE. For everyone else it is a regular platform session with the same content.
Is this DevOps consulting?
No. It is an agenda item and a quarterly brief. Bigger questions become a Platform Governance Model or a scoped project, priced separately.
