Cloud2 has officially secured the AWS Security Services Competency, not in one narrow slice of security, but across three distinct domains: Application Security, Compliance and Privacy, Infrastucture Protection

This multi-area recognition is rare, technically demanding, and represents a full-spectrum validation of Cloud2’s security capability on AWS.

This isn’t a badge collection exercise. It’s a signal that Cloud2 has proven end-to-end security excellence, from how apps are built and deployed, to how data is governed, to how infrastructure is hardened and monitored, all against the toughest audit in the AWS ecosystem.

The road here was not easy. The AWS Security Competency is known across the ecosystem as the toughest audit to pass. The process required end-to-end evidence of our security architecture, governance models, and real-world project deliveries. It’s been a true rollercoaster, but in the end, our team, pulled it through.

Real-World Evidence – Without Compromise

Because trust and confidentiality sit at the core of our business, all cases in the audit were heavily anonymized to protect our customers’ operations and data.

What we demonstrated to AWS included:

• XKS (External Key Store) implementation in highly regulated environments, showing how financial and critical infrastructure organizations manage encryption keys outside AWS while still maintaining seamless control.

• Multi-layer IAM architectures, proving how Cloud2 builds identity isolation, federated access, and policy automation to meet the highest compliance standards.

• Secure hardware device management, ensuring end-to-end integrity from firmware to production, using secure pipelines and artifact validation.

• Security pipeline automation, where code, policies, and compliance checks move hand-in-hand, ensuring “security where it matters most.”

Each of these showcases Cloud2’s ability to combine advanced AWS services with real-world governance, compliance, and operational security,  the core of why this competency was awarded.
